Britain has ordered its first batch of TACNAV systems for armored vehicles. These combine GPS, compass, laser rangefinder, odometer, and a turret orientation indicator to provide vehicle (and unit) commanders with precise information on their location and the location of spotted enemy targets. --Stephen V Cole
