Australia has bought 55 Leopard-C1 turrets from the Canadian Army. The Canadians removed them from their Leopard-C1 tanks when these were upgraded to the Leopard-C2 standard. The Australians will use the leftover turrets as spare parts for its own Leopard-AS1 tanks. --Stephen V Cole
