The Air Force has bought all of its laser guided bombs from Raytheon, but the Navy (unable to get a delivery schedule they wanted) ordered some of theirs from Lockheed Martin. Good idea! Said the Air Force, which has now approved Lockheed Martin to build some of its bombs. Having two production lines running at normal speed would provide a greater "surge" capability during wartime.--Stephen V Cole
