In Sierra Leone, police arrested 50 Liberian soldiers who had crossed the border to steal food and rob villagers. Police reported that these incursions are becoming more common as the fighting with LURD in Liberia causes more chaos in the Liberian economy. In the last week, some 3,400 Liberians fled to refugee camps in Sierra Leone.
